I must warn the village. 

Okay, let me tell you a bit about the SCARIEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE(okay not really, but it was pretty damn scary).

My family and I went to this bird sanctuary during one of our vacations, because I was in the Owl phase(I got to hold one there, it was amazing) But later in the day, a little while before we left, my parents thought it would be a good idea to get us some food for the ducks.

WORST. IDEA. EVER.

Now I don’t know anything about these ducks, maybe they were starving, or just learned to associate those little bags with food, but the moment we start passing food out, suddenly there were ducks EVERYWHERE. And not just calmly eating the food either, there was like DOZENS of ducks SCRAMBLING at our feet and QUACKING and SWARMING and SCRATCHING. It was TERRIFYING. THEY WOULDN’T GO AWAY.

So doing what any logical 8 and 4 year old would do while being swarmed by vicious ducks, we ran and shoved the food into our parent’s hands, who were a little ways away on a small bridge and ran away, leaving them to wonder why we were so scared, only to be over taken soon after. Later, both my brother and I were pretty hysterical, and it pretty much ruined the entire visit.

We never fed ducks again.
